We were graced by a warm, sunny day for the 1999 AGM at the end of June
and several Members are seen here posing for the camera outside
G4RS, Cole Block, Blandford Camp.
And most of those who attended the AGM are seen here outside the venue
Princess Mary Hall, Blandford Camp
thanks to Alan, VK6PG who organised this parade and supplied the picture.

Not so much "Underneath the spreading chestnut tree" but under the growing
antenna system at G4RS, the Headquarters Station of the Society.

On the left we see Joe, GØWEE receiving one of his many Society Awards from the hand of Ray, G3EKL, Vice-President and on the right Alf, G3UAA the first recipient of the newly-named G4SXF Trophy. He is seen here being presented by Mrs. Olive Samuel, the sister of the late Roger E. Chastell, G4SXF. The Trophy was originally The 559 Trophy donated to the Society by the late Captain Cyril Mountjoy, GW3ASW.

Mike, GØSWY receives his RTTY Net Controller's Appreciation plaque from Ray, G3EKL, Vice-President and on the right Alan, VK6PG is similarly treated in receiving the MOP Award. Alan also took charge of the Best MERCURY Article Award to get it to Dick VK4BBA.

Coming all the way from Australia, Alan VK6PG knows how to enjoy the sunshine - he is seen here on the right of the trio with Ray G3KOJ and XYL but when it comes to devotion to duty he can cover up with several layers of warm clothing and operate in the early hours of the day as GB8OM at Longleat.
We are obliged to Mike, GØSWY for the 8 photographs which appear in the section above
and Alan, VK6PG for the one below.
From left to right of the picture we have
G3EKL, G3NVK, G3RGE, Andy Bowering, Malcolm McKinlay, GØWEE, GØSWY, G3DSS
all of whom are
Members of RSARS Council.
