A list compiled from information supplied by our Rally Representatives and indicating forthcoming Events at which the Society plan to have its own Stand. Please remember that we are never without the need for some assistance whenever we attend a Rally: setting up, manning the Stand during "opening hours" and clearing the site when the Show ends all call for manpower. Our representation at Rallies "flies the flag" and is carried out on a wholly voluntary basis. For further information or especially if you wish to lend a hand please contact the Rally Representative concerned.

    • 1) February 21st Midcars Radio Active Radio Rally, Nantwich Town Hall, CW5 5DG
    2) March 21st Great Malvern International Military Convention, The Three Counties Showground, Wye Hall (Brown Gate), Malvern, Worcestershire, UK. Please enter the showground via Brown gate and proceed to Wye Hall.
    3) March 28th Hangar Sale, Hack Green Nuclear Bunker, Nantwich, CW5 8BL
    4) April 11th Norbreck Rally, Norbreck Hotel, Blackpool. Outside there will be an area of amateur stations set up to include, Navy, Air Force, Royal Signals and possibly a VMARS station open for display. Cadets with radio licenses will be assisting.
    5) May 28th to 30th Liverpool Military Show, Walton Hall Park, just off the A580 East Lancs Road, follow the AA Signs for parking and access. Gates Open At 10am !!
    6) June 26th and 27th International Radio Rally at Friedricshafen, Southern Germany.
    7) July 19th Imphal Barracks Open day, York (details to follow)
    8) September 19th Great Northern Hamfest, Metrodome Leisure Complex, Barnsley S71 1AN

    HARWELL RADIO and ELECTRONICS RALLY
    At Didcot Leisure Centre (Adjoining St. Birinus School), Mereland Road, Didcot, Oxfordshire OX11 8AY
    Refreshments served all day: sandwiches, homemade cakes (yes really!) and hot drinks.
    Well signposted use A34 from M4 or M40. Talk-in GX3PIA on 145.550MHz
    Just 3 miles from A34 (Junction of A417 and A4130) between Oxford and Newbury then follow A4130 to Didcot.
    Use A4130 from Wallingford. About 15 minutes' walk from Didcot Parkway Station and Didcot Steam Centre.
    Easy parking.
    10:30 - 15:30. Entrance £2 (children under 12 FREE)

    BREDHURST RECEIVINGAND TRANSMITTING SOCIETY (BRATS) RALLY
    At Rainham Girls' School, Derwent Way, Rainham, Kent ME8 ØBX
    Just 3 miles from A34 (Junction of A417 and A4130) between Oxford and Newbury then follow A4130 to Didcot.
    Turn south off the A2 or leave M2 at Junction 4.
    Doors open at 10:00am. Talk-in on 2m.

    KEMPTON RADIO, ELECTRONICS RALLY
    At Kempton Park Racecourse
    Kempton Park is located half a mile from J1 of the M3 and is well signposted from the motorway. The racecourse is readily accessible by road and ideally situated to benefit from the motorway links between the M4/M3 and M25.

    VHF talk in. Bring and Buy sale. Outside catering and a full self service restaurant.
    Show opens at 10:00am with tickets available from 9:30.
