The good news is this publication is now available both from Stores Manager and the Rally Reps in the Midlands and the South. The cost is still £5 inclusive of any postage and packing.

Now may I invite all Members to check the Store pages (both the main one and the new section for VK/ZL) as there are many changes, which I will now explain?

The old variety was discontinued as from the 28th July last year but I still have 40,000 or more sheets (yes that is forty thousand) of Members' Society notepaper. At the AGM I will have all the paper in my car, and, except for a small quantity reserved for Council Members, if anyone wants to take some away with or without a donation to the Society they will be free to do so. Please note that we have no Index Cards or horizontal QSL cards left in Stores, but there are some with the Rally Reps.

Again which is to be discontinued, they are mainly with the Rally Reps, with but a few at Stores HQ, 20p or even less will secure you one.

Please note that we have no Index Cards remaining in Stores but there may be some with the Rally Reps.

These will no longer be sold by the Society, but a supply will be held by the Awards Manager for his Awards section.

They are to go as well, because they have been superseded by the de luxe version, mainly with the Rally Reps, an offer for them at a Rally or to the Stores Manager will secure you one. Anyone saying 20p plus p&p?

Changes in Royal Mail prices and insurance, allow us to lower some costs with regard to these, at the same time we are able to lower the actual cost of the wall shield. As from 1st July the following take effect:

Wall shields will be reduced to £26 plus P&P (UK ) £2.10 giving a UK total of £28.10 and for Overseas P&P £4.50 a total of £30.50.

Windscreen stickers new type (with Jimmy) to be reduced to 80p.

RSARS PENS are with immediate effect to be reduced to 50p each.

We have in the first part of this year replaced the 5-inch teddies with an 8-inch version - cost to Members £4.90 plus P&P.

The Society now has ‘Fridge Magnets’ for sale at 50p each - these bear a Jimmy and RSARS. (See Stores pages in "MERCURY" or on web pages at http://www.rsars.org.uk).

We will be able, by the time that this issue goes to print, to offer Members a Society Polo shirt, which will come in various sizes, they have a Jimmy on them with RSARS underneath; the cost to Members will be £10 each; they will be available in a choice of 3 colours Maroon, Green and Blue, the colours have been matched to go with the Society’s Harvard hats. As an extra benefit for Members the Society is offering you the chance to save money by purchasing a Polo Shirt and a Harvard hat - if you buy both any two together for £15 you can save £1 (a joint cost would be £10 + £6) plus P&P if you are ordering from Stores. In all cases please look at the Stores page for full cost and ordering details. The sizes will be XL (46), Large (42), Medium (40) and Small (38).

I can tell you that an XL fits me, and I have a 48-inch chest (no comments please)! The shirts are of very good quality made by "Fruits of Loom" and are washable. Any queries please feel free to contact me.
