Tavistock Rally is a very relaxed and welcoming affair which attracts a good number of traders and visitors. At first, this year's event seemed quiet, but soon filled up later on. I managed to sell some antenna books and a hat, but buying anything was not on most people's agenda. In fact, one trader told me that, although he had had a good year so far at other rallies, Tavistock had been very poor. Economic doldrums seem to have hit us now, although traders' comments can be misleading.
