Well those who spread gloom and doom about something called SNOW should be on OC's Orders! Yes there was some in the fields but virtually none on the roads - everything in effect was normal and the Show was great.Didcot Leisure Centre, Mereland Road, Didcot People travel from far and wide including a couple who came from PLYMOUTH, a member from Christchurch and 15 other members who signed in, rather more locally. (Perhaps the Christchurch member can come and help at the Flight Refuelling Rally in August? - Well I did ask and did not exactly get a NO, in reply!) Thank you to SIX who paid their subs, well two were new people wishing to join RSARS, but this and the sales of teddies etc. made it all worthwhile. As usual Mario gave of his expertise to all those present and really made the stand "sing" at times with talk of Aerials, Antenna and lots of radiation. This, as usual a great Show, lots of things to see, plenty of junk to sift through and a canteen that serves excellent really homemade food. Trying to make friends and influence people I bought the XYL a DAB radio for £4 - new!! It works fine and I am no longer indebted for Christmas presents! So it really was a good Show!
