THE VICE-PRESIDENT - Major (Retd) R. A. WEBB - G3EKL

With considerable regret we inform you that Ray has unexpectedly joined the ranks of Silent Keys. More information concerning this tragic event will be broadcast so soon as the details are fully known.

The late Major Raymond Alexander Webb - Vice-President RSARS
The funeral took place on Monday 21st July 2008 at 14:15 at Darlington Crematorium, Carmel Road North West Cemetery, Darlington, County Durham, with a good turn-out. The Obituary will appear in the next issue of "MERCURY" (July 2008 No. 150) which was sent to our printers on 23rd July.

MERCURY Number 150 - July 2008

The Society's MEMBERSHIP CALL SIGN and NUMBER LIST is now available from the E-LIBRARY - updated monthly on the 1st of each month, the first one was dated 1st November 2004 and the current one is dated 1st August 2008.

    The single point of contact within the Ministry of Defence for providing information, help and advice on issues of concern to veterans and their families.
    It does this through its free Helpline, welfare service and its website.
    The Agency provides advice on a wide range of subjects including benefits and welfare issues, pensions and compensation, Service records and medals etc. The Veterans Helpline (0800 169 2277) is open from 8:15am to 5:15pm Monday to Thursday and from 8:15am to 4:30pm on Friday. Calls are free.

    The Agency's vision is "Service excellence for veterans and Serving personnel"
