1) QRP Festival, Formby Hall 01/06/08A fun festival with lots of interesting things on sale. Real bush comms, low power, coke cans and string old parts and classic radio equipment. Good bacon butties and a great atmosphere. A good selection of software and radio library resources. 2) Reddish Radio Rally, Stockpot, 05/07/08 A friendly Radio Society, keen on their CW, adequate refreshments, advice and interesting stuff, good bring and buy. 3) Updated Llandudno Radio Festival (Oct 08) Though poorly attended the event was huge with loads of stands in two gymnasium size areas, cadets manning the carpark. Llandudno is a lovely town and worth a visit anyway, so next time make the effort to come down and spend the weekend. 4) Red Rose Winter Rally, Lowton 18/01/09 Well attended, good crowd, good food, loads of interest.
